Well Christmas is upon us, the decorations have been put up and fairy lights weaved throughout to co-inside with the Truro’s City of Lights Parade, which we can confirm did pass the Old Ale House on the 18th November 2015! Next up is Father Christmas and his REAL reindeer, who will be parading through the city streets and we can confirm he will be passing the Old Ale House on Wednesday 25th November from 6pm, followed by a procession at 6:45pm. Mallets Home Hardware store is the key supporter of this event who are sponsoring Children’s Hospice Southwest, but Skinner’s Brewery and The Old Ale House also support Children’s Hospice Southwest, so if you can’t make it to Mallets Home Hardware, don’t worry we also have their charity collection boxes on our bar, so if you fancy a cheeky pint you can donate while you drink, not a bad combination hey?… or is it? Either way our fantastic selection of fine Cornish ales and Cornwall Cider Company’s ciders will be on offer, not forgetting our mulled wine & our delicious food offering.
